The catalyst called 'Costume'
'Costumes'- a word that immediately resonates with theatre and story, comes from the word "Costum" or "Custom", "manerism" and other such meanings of origination. Costume plays a vital role in performance, acting as the first visual bridge between the performer and the audience. It serves as a powerful storytelling tool, instantly conveying essential details about a character’s identity, era, social standing, or emotional state before a single word is spoken. As a costume designer, I love telling stories through what people wear - each piece is born from a deep passion for music, art, dance, and especially design. This creative journey allows me to shape characters and narratives through fabric, form, and detail.
